Weather permitting, our beautiful outdoor terrace is available to enjoy our wines by the glass or bottle on a first come-first serve basis. (No table side service/picnics welcomed).
To ensure access to our extremely limited production wines from Fraser Vineyard as well as our proprietary blends, Cuvee Alden and Cuvee Amelia, we recommend joining our allocation list. Allocations will be released once annually each Spring and held for members for onsite pick up.
Half Allocation : 2 bottles of Fraser Cabernet Sauvignon, 1 bottle of Cuvee Alden and 1 bottle Cuvee Amelia $200
Full Allocation : 4 bottles of Fraser Cabernet Sauvignon, 2 bottles of Cuvee Alden and 2 bottles of Cuvee Amelia. $360 *Full Allocation membership includes 10% discount on all wines.
Executive Allocation: 12 bottles of Fraser Cabernet Sauvignon, 6 bottles of Cuvee Alden and 6 bottles of Cuvee Amelia. $1,020 *Executive Allocation membership includes 15% discount on all wines and no tasting fees.
Greg and Kristen Koenig started Koenig Vineyards over 30 years ago. It grew organically from the original winery and tasting room at the Koenig Distillery site, owned by Greg's brother, Andy Koenig and his wife, Jill. In 2009 Koenig Vineyards grew into a new wine-making facility on Hoskins Road and added a tasting room in 2016. In 2019, Greg and Kristen turned over the Koenig brand and facilities to dear friends/custom wine crush clients James and Sydney Nederend. The Devil's Bedstead project stemmed from the idea of focusing 30 years of experience on two beloved vineyard parcels, Koenig Estate, planted in 1996 and the iconic Fraser Vineyard, which was acquired from the Fraser Family in 2014. Devil's Bedstead produces fewer than 800 cases annually, including Fraser Cabernet Sauvignon, reserve blends Cuvee Alden and Cuvee Amelia, as well as occasional Viognier and Merlot from the Estate site.
Produced entirely of Merlot grown in our 28-year old Estate vineyard. Hand-picked and cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks, the resulting wine is pale and crisp, with floral aromas and a dry finish.
A single acre of Viognier planted in 2002 in our Estate Vineyard is the source for this Rhone-valley varietal. Cool-fermented in stainless steel and aged on its lees for 10 months, this Viognier has pure aromas of white peach and apricot, Meyer lemon and a crisp, stony finish.
Established in 1996, our Estate Vineyard straddles a rare rocky band of gravel and clay that has produced unique wines over 24 years vintages. Typical aromas of blackberries and cassis are framed by flavors of fine oak and a velvety texture, the result of patiently aging the wines in small oak barrels for 22 months.
Fraser Vineyard has long been the source of some of the Snake River Valley's finest Cabernet Sauvignon, and it is our privilege to continue the tradition of these compelling wines. Aged 24 months in French oak, this wine showcases the richness and depth of this remarkable site.
In 2001 we began producing this red blend (55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot), naming it for our son Alden. Each year we ferment the most intensely flavored varietals separately and then age the resulting wine in new French oak barrels for 24 months.
Produced since 2004, this Reserve Syrah is named for our daughter Amelia. Each year we source the best Syrah grapes of the vintage, co-ferment them with a little viognier, and age them in new French oak barrels for 22 months. The resulting wine is a compelling expression of Syrah grown in the diverse soils of Idaho's Snake River Valley.
